After receiving her Master’s Degree in the Netherlands, Beatrix relocated to the US and started her career in mortgage brokering before gaining her license and becoming a Buyer’s Agent.

In this extremely competitive market, Beatrix learnt early that what set herself apart from her competition was not the product she was selling, but her outstanding customer service that was based on a few principles – listen carefully to your customer’s needs and then demonstrate outstanding responsiveness in follow up and follow through skills.

I was always efficient, I naturally had that in me, but combining that efficiency with simple personalised touches to make each experience special for my customers, that is what going above and beyond is all about”.

From there a new leasing opportunity presented itself within a renowned multi-tiered asset management company, which resulted in Beatrix being awarded the “Best Leasing Consultant of the Year”. But with a natural inclination towards process and exceptional attention to detail, Beatrix was soon recruited to venture into a complex operations role, and it was at this point that she really found her passion.

Beatrix undoubtedly is a strong leader and astute in all aspects of operations which resulted in her experiencing a successful career in roles such as Head of Operations at several prominent companies in the marketplace and managing prestige assets for clients such as JP Morgan.  Outstanding team performances led by Beatrix, gained her a second major award, “Property of the Year for San Diego”, recognized by the California Apartment Association.

“Working for prestigious companies, each highly systemised at their core, I understood that this was just as important as their people to long term success. To have proper processes in place that are meticulously being followed is key.  Walk the talk and do what you say you will do, consistently.”

Now, Beatrix calls Sydney home and here she has held two key operational roles, Business Manager for a traditional real estate as well as recently Operations Manager for an exciting nationwide prop tech start-up company.
